Summer or winter – Bondi still manages to pull itself the crowds. It might be 4 degrees outside, yet you’ll still be able to spot swimmers making their way from the south to north end, fitspos running the length of the sand, and of course, bikini-clad influencers capturing their content. But it’s not just the beach that’s providing the good times (and photo opportunities).
You’ve got beach bars, the Icebergs pool, cute cafés in abundance, and then there’s Hotel Ravesis – a content creator’s dream on every level. While it’s long been the watering hole of choice for locals and visitors, since undergoing a massive refurbishment in early 2018 – it’s also become the go-to place to stay in Bondi.

Set right across the road from Bondi Beach, designer Kristen Doyle from Killanoodle Design and Sydney stylist Carina Hicks have brought a Miami vibe to a range of 12 bespoke rooms and suites situated above the bar and restaurant. Artwork by Daimon Downey, Akila Berjaoui and Mel Vugich line the walls, while rooms come complete with local design pieces from Vela Living and MCM House.
It’s literally as though every corner of every room has been designed to be an influencer’s dream – think pink walled balconies, white alcoves, and modern coastal interiors in a slick colourway of mint green, peach, millennial pink and white. Is there any surprise the hotel has attracted visitors including the likes of Emelinaah, Lisa Danielle, Devin Brugman, Andy Csinger, and Laura Jade Stone… just to name a few.

And while we’ve become quite used to seeing the familiar pink of Ravesis making its way onto our IG feed, it seems we can never get enough of it. A little slice of Miami in the heart of Bondi. What’s not to love.
