She once described her style as seemingly to “swing between overgrown 90s teenage boy to seventies groupie to monochrome French flirt and back again”, and we think that is exactly what began our obsession with London style blogger Lucy Williams. A chameleon of fashion that can go from converses and denim one day to sequin dresses and cowboy boots the next – you’re never sure what you’re going to get, and it keeps us hooked. Line and sinker.
To indulge in our fashion obsession, we’re putting this week’s Style Spotlight on the style blogger – highlighting five of the reasons why Lucy is well and truly high on our radar.
1. Her background is in fashion magazines
There’s no denying Lucy’s style errs on the side of sartorial – and there’s a reason for this, with the blogger’s background being steeped heavily in the publishing world. Starting out as a Fashion Assistant at Sheerluxe.com and InStyle magazine before turning Assistant Fashion and Beauty Editor at Stylus, Lucy’s high style eye is now translated into her own personal outfit curations.

2. She originally started her blog as a moodboard
The summer after leaving university, Lucy set up her blog Fashion Me Now as a personal moodboard to post various pieces of inspiration she’d come across. It’s since evolved into a place where you can find features on everything from personal outfits to her travel diaries.

3. Her uncanny ability to make the most unexpected fashion trends look stylish
We’ve got to say, Lucy constantly impresses us with her ability to take a daggy item of clothing and turn it cool. Crochet bucket hats, velcro flip flops, fanny bags, tie dye sloppy joes… she just makes it work. Damn she’s good.

4. She still regularly posts to her blog
Anyone else feel like Instagram has completely taken over the blogging world? Which makes us super happy that Lucy hasn’t let her blog slip despite the rise of the Gram. While we’re all about a happy snap and witty caption, we love that with Lucy’s blog – we can delve more into her travels and wardrobe. Thank you for not deserting the blogosphere.

5. She could be Sienna Miller’s sister
Anyone else getting strong Sienna Miller vibes from a scroll through her feed? Remember the days when Sienna overtook Kate Moss as the style ‘it girl’ you’d desperately try to emulate with your own wardrobe? Welcome to the modern day Sienna. Lucy, you officially have our crown.
