One of the internet’s most forefront influencers, Blair Eadie has grown her thriving empire off the back of her extensive work in the fashion world. Starting off her career in fashion at Gap in the Retail Management Program, Blair then moved on to become the Senior Merchandiser at Old Navy and then the Director of Merchandising at Tory Burch – founding her fashion blog Atlantic-Pacific on the side in 2010 before making it her full-time career in December 2016.
Since then, Atlantic-Pacific and Blair Eadie has taken the fashion world by storm – garnering 1.1 million followers on Instagram to date and a loyal blog readership. Constantly making the list of fashion bloggers to watch thanks to her inspiring wardrobe collection of colours and cuts, Blair’s polished and perky trademark has etched her name into our Style Spotlight.
Here we look at the five reasons why…
1. She’s a fashion designer
October this year saw Blair team up with Nordstrom to launch her first fashion label – the Halogen x Atlantic-Pacific collection. Working on the line for almost a year, the collection features a limited-edition line of accessories, footwear, apparel and lingerie. Blair described her designs with People magazine, saying, “It’s grounded in femininity, it’s colourful, and it can by styled 100 different ways. That was one of the things that was really important to me from the beginning – making sure each piece feels really special.”
2. She encompasses the phrase “passion for fashion”
Blair isn’t in it for fame, this glamour goddess genuinely loves what she does. She told Footwear News, “It’s about staying true to what I love and that keeps my motivated. If I tried to adhere to a lot of trends happening in this space and do the buzzy thing, I’d lose interest.”
3. She’s a colour queen
Blair constantly shocks with her bold choices of colour that combine the words “elegant” and “energetic”. A true eye for abstract art, she’s great at matching her vibrant outfits with striking backgrounds [and her photos constantly blow us away].
4. She’s teamed up with big names
She’s worked with an extensive list of big global brands like CoverGirl, Gucci, Target, Tory Burch, Sephora, and obviously Nordstrom, plus many more. And it’s not just brands that she’s caught the eye of. Her style status has landed her name in major fashion publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle.
5. Quirk is key
From frocks and barrettes to puffy shoulders and giant bows, Blair has a way with pairing the most unlikely pieces. We’re pointing you particularly to her skirt collection, with Blair Eadie’s iconic flourish of pretty skirts bringing a little fabulosity to all her photos.
