There are some Instagram fashion trends that make you go “WTF??!!”… and there are others that made you go straight to the shops (yes, I am now the proud owner of cat-eye sunglasses, baker boy hat, and desperately coveting a teddy jacket). One fashion trend that’s recently been making a red hot splash (literally) across Instagram is red checks and tartans.
Whether it be on dresses, tops, jackets, pants, or swimsuits – the trend is taking off big time both overseas and on home soil (Australia). And it’s not gone unnoticed by brands, with recent Spring/Summer collection launches showcasing their take on the pattern.
