While you’d think that strapping men gallantly riding their horses around the grounds hitting a ball with their wooden mallet would be all the entertainment a guest could ever want – it seems the pull of good food, even better wine, and an epic dose of people-watching under the marquee means most attendees do tend to get a little distracted.

With the January 13 event attracting more than 6000 people – the day had Instagram Stories getting a heavy hit-out as Portsea (located south of Melbourne, Australia) turned it on despite the less than ideal weather.
