Crowned Miss Universe Australia last year, Olivia Molly Rogers is the go-getter with the flowing blonde locks, pearlescent smile, and alluring charm. But what some may not know is that this ‘It Girl’ is also a trained Speech Pathologist and budding artist, buoying her passion projects through her growing social media presence. Β
With a hair rarely out of place, Olivia appears perpetually polished and radiant as if ready to grace another Miss Universe runway on command.
Here, we’re chatting with this humble beauty icon on daily routines, exercise and delicious feeds to deliverΒ β you guessed itΒ β today’s Day on a Plate degustation…
βMy routine changes all the time with all the travel I’m doing, but when I’m not travelingΒ β this is my typical day on a plate,β says Olivia.
6.30am
Wake up and head to boxing. I’ve never been able to eat before training, but I make sure I drink lots of water before, during, and after.
8.15am
Post-workout brekky
Option 1:
My absolute favourite breakfast is my homemade protein smoothie bowl & a Nespresso coffee with coconut milk.
Protein Smoothie Bowl:
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 frozen banana
- 6 ice cubes
- Coconut milk (coco quench)Β β blended til smooth but not for too long so it stays nice and thick
- Topped with a spoonful of peanut butter, sprinkle of muesli, and a few almonds
Option 2:
Omelette & Nespresso coffee with coconut milk
Omelette:
- 2 free range eggs
- spinach
- tomatoes
- onion
- mushrooms
- chilli flakes
11.00am
Snack
I’ve never been a big snacker but if I’ve trained hard I get very hungry by 11! So I’ll usually opt for a protein bar (my favourites are ‘Quest’ bars).
1.00pm
Lunch
Salad with tuna (chilli tuna in oil), veggies (usually leftovers from the night before; broccoli, carrot, cauliflower, capsicum, tomatoes, spinach & whatever else I have in the fridge) dressed with apple cider vinegar.
3.00pm
Coffeeee! I crave my arvo coffee, always with coconut milk.
7.30pm
Dinner
I’ll always have some sort of protein, usually chicken or fish (I’m not a huge red meat eater) with a whole lot of veggies.Β One of my favourite sides is mashed sweet potato, I make this with mango chutney, coriander and chilli and it’s the bomb. I looove roasting a couple of trays of veggies then using leftovers for my lunch the next day. So yummy.
8.30pm
Dessert
I’m a sweet tooth for sure, so I love having a bit of chocolate or homemade raw snickers slice after dinner. I also love a big peppermint tea before bed, I feel that it helps with my digestion.
I’ll either watch netflix with my roomie, paint for a while, or read before bed.
Bed around 11pm. Β
