Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia is such a busy week for everyone involved – from designers to media to buyers. But what about show attendees? Yep, they also are crazy busy.
This week we are taking a look at a Day in the Life of different influencers and personalities in attendance at MBfWA to get a little insight into what exactly goes on behind-the-feed at Fashion Week. First up, we chatted to The Bachelor’s Elora Tahiti as she took us through her schedule from 5am wake-up calls to night-time guitar sessions with new boyfriend Salvatore Savarese.
5am
I got up and was stressing about my outfit because I was going to the macgraw show at 9am in Darling Point. I got there early and had my makeup done by Lancôme.
9am
Watched the macgraw show.
10am
After macgraw, I went back to my house in Bondi. I got really angry at the Post Office because I my dresses hadn’t arrived on time – so then I went to buy one! I went to Zara and some other shops – but ended up choosing a dress from Runaway the Label.
2pm
After shopping, I got ready to come to Carriageworks [where MBFWA is held].
3pm
I arrived at Fashion Week for Lancôme to do my makeup (I did my hair on my own). I then waited here [at Carriageworks] until it was time to attend theC/MEO Collective show.
5pm
Watched the C/MEO Collective show.
6.15pm
After the show I headed home as I had an Italian man cooking me dinner at home [Elora’s boyfriend Salvatore Savarese].
1am
Go to bed. I stayed up as I had promised that I would sing and play guitar with him [Salvatore].
